About this tour

A spiritually enriching journey from Sharm El Sheikh to the legendary Mount Sinai. Your guide picks you up in the evening and drives you to the foot of the mountain, where you trek 2,285 meters above sea level and climb the 750 Steps of Repentance to reach the summit of Moses Mountain in time for a breathtaking sunrise over the desert peaks and the historic Greek Orthodox Chapel. After descending, you take a guided tour of St. Catherine's Monastery — one of the world's oldest Christian monasteries — where you will see the famous Burning Bush, explore the monastery's ancient icons and religious treasures, and visit the Relics Museum with its collection of sacred artifacts and preserved manuscripts.
